• Account credentials (name, email address, password).
• Campus profile data (university selection, general hostel location, optional WhatsApp contact).
• Media and listings details uploaded for marketplace products.
• Agent identification documents (government ID, proof of address) submitted during verification processes.

2. How We Use Information

We process your details exclusively for operations, catalog index rankings, and security safeguards:

• To show item locations and contact channels to prospective buyers on the market catalog feed.
• To verify property agent credentials and award trust badges to prevent student scams.
• To send calendar booking appointments, visitation slot emails, and account reset alerts.

3. Data Security & Disclosures

CampusAgent never sells, leases, or lists your credentials to third-party advert groups. All passwords are encrypted securely using hash algorithm protocols (bcrypt).

Because our marketplace is open directory-based, any contact details (like WhatsApp numbers) that you explicitly attach to listings will be visible to public visitors. Please use caution when publishing private phone channels.
